Workshop: Scoping Student Opportunities

Ready to create a student opportunity?
This workshop will help you create a plan to create a student role that ensures you (and they) get the most from the experience.
Participants will leave with the ability to:
- Differentiate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) student roles, such as Co-ops, Placements, or Internships, from other employee roles
- Determine appropriate mentorship requirements for student and employer success
- Compare project-based versus position-based opportunities
- Identify suitable student work opportunities and options based on aligned competencies
- Examine suitable sample student job postings
After completion of the workshop, employers will leave with tools to begin crafting a student job description.
